Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

I'm not posting allot anymore for my own reasons! Just some food for thought, some of those who are replying may, or, may not already be EPS members! I won't say if they are or are not! I am a member and will say this, if I was in recruiting you would be deferred! Don't know your full story; however...

Re: Seeking a replacement vehicle...

Both my wife and I upgraded this year. She had a Dodge Journey and upgraded to a 2016 Nissan Murano, wow, what an awesome piece of kit!

I upgraded from Dodge Ram sport to a Dodge Rebel, another awesome piece of kit!

Dodge does have the 0%/84 months, you can't go wrong with that!

A deferral can happen at any point! Chances are less the further in the process you go.

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Maybe something to put you at ease! With the forest fires in Fort Mac, allot of our membership are busy on overtime. This is a HUGE effort on everyone's part, might be a bit of a delay because of it.

I'm not in the know by any means, but, food for thought!

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Hi all - I've been through (192 pages at this point) the entire thread and it has been a great resource for information and encouragement from EPS members and applicants. I applied as an out-of-province applicant from Kitchener, ON on March 29, 2016. I'm originally from the U.S. and have Canadian p...

Re: Dash cams

Hey all,

I'm now in the market to replace an old EBay/POS Chinese camera.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Wife just got a new vehicle and we want to replace her old camera. I want one for my truck as well.

Thanks as usual.

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

My EPS app was concluded 2 weeks before I was to head down. I'm not sure why as I was not given a reason but I was told I will be called shortly to explain what is going on, I understand they are seeking the best of the best so if it's something I have fallen short on then I will only improve mysel...

I'm finally making a bit of a come back after being gone for a while due to health reasons!

All I can tell you is to read the previous thread and learn from there! I will not continually answer the same questions!

Good first step!

Now on with the fight with WCB like here in Alberta! Even though there is legislation they still fight it tooth and nail!
