Re: *** ASK AN ONTARIO RCMP RECRUITER ***

I am not a recruiter nor an employee of the RCMP, which would be all you need to know in assessing whether or not you should be responding to questions posed in any of the ask a recruiter threads. The rules relating to these particular threads are very clear, and very basic. Further efforts to respo...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

How do the postings work exactly? Is it just fill in whatever is available ? And also could you tell us the different postings there are with in an institution? Your purpose as a casual is to serve as "backfill" for full time staff. You fill in the blanks in the schedule created when full...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Casual for me, currently is not a big issue due to my circumstances. However, i do understand how this can be an issue for people relying on FT status in order to pay for their living costs. It's not just the money... That you'll earn. You can plan on at least 70k your first year. However... it'll ...

The only thing that can speed up the SC process is if u hold or held a SC because then they would just have to cross reference with the other agency other than that it's a waiting game

1)Well maybe I'm a low-quality type of person. 2)yes many don't finish it. Mostly women if you look at it statistically. And some quit after the first Pare because they get around 7-8 min and figure they will never pass. And the 2 of us know rarely a cadet is terminated because of is attitude HIPCA...

Hi guys, I was speaking to my friend who recently did the interview for CBSA that he did not have to write any exam. He just applied and got the invitation for the interview. He said university graduates do not have to write the wcpt and gct2. Is this true? Does this apply only to university grads ...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

You guys read into it too much. I know it stings, but you just need to keep applying. I was deferred from one police service and hired by another not too long afterwards. It can literally be as simple as you were #21 on their list of 20 cops to hire in that fiscal year. I work with a lot of cops th...
