Re: 2013 Ford Interceptor & Utility

Got a new gripe about the unit. We have had a good amount of snow already this winter and a few times I have had snow build up in the wheels then turn to ice throwing the wheels off balance. Makes for one hell of a bumpy ride at highway speeds.

Re: 2013 Ford Interceptor & Utility

I believe I read somewhere that there was an "Updated" version of the CenCom box that came out later that had some minor differences from the original ones. How old are the boxes in the 6 that failed?

Re: 2013 Ford Interceptor & Utility

Has anyone had any issues with the FordMoCo cencom sapphire leaving the lights on after you turn them off? No..... or not yet, might be the answer if you know of it happening. I was reading on an installer web site forum about the ford issue cencom and most of he installers were not to happy with t...

Re: Chev Caprice coming to Canada

[ ...... It's enough of a pain that I just leave the car buried in the snow and drive my old carb'd truck instead. LMAO, With the snow we have had the last couple weeks a car would be useless anyway. edit to add: I found the traction control disable under; Settings / Driver Assist as mentioned abov...

Re: 2013 Ford Interceptor & Utility

Finally got the new rig. It's actually not too bad. Here are my thoughts after a few days in it: Good: - AWD is surprisingly good. Responds well to gas being floored on loose snow. - Acceleration is not bad either. Had one bare stretch of pavement, and it picked up fairly quick. (Non boosted v6). -...

Re: Apple TV or Roku 3?

I just hooked up an older computer I had laying around to my TV. Wireless mouse and keyboard, sign up for what ever services if you want Netflix etc, watch youtube and what ever else there is. There is even a way to watch most American channels if you wanted to. The computer doesn't even have to be ...

>>> Mr. Mugs <<< are the books I recall from my childhood... the Sharing Points in Language Arts series. HA!!! My Muggs. Funny that should come up because me and a friend were just talking about that series the other night reminiscing of our early school days (and some of the stupid things we did b...

Re: Is LE for me ?

Ask your local police if they have a ride along program where you can go out for a shift and see what it is really all about. You could also volunteer at the local detachment (office work) while you are in school.

Re: Chev Caprice coming to Canada

Do the new Tahoes have that sweet button that you can disable the traction control with like most other Chevys?
My Ford UI doesn't. I think all vehicles with traction control should have that ability.

Got the horn hooked up in the new Ford Utility and it is great. Had no idea about the lighting abilities. Is that Fed Sig only or do others have it now too. I'm running all Whelen.
