Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

How does the OPP academy in Orilla differ from OPC? Does the OPP have higher standards for classes then what OPC teaches to? Also how long does field training with a training / coach officer last? OPP Academy has much higher standards than OPC, as OPP only hires the best of the best of the best. Pl...

Re: Hamilton Police Service

I never thought when I started this process that this could happen. Again, when looking at the Ontario Police websites for hiring nothing states that if one makes it through the whole process successfully they may not end up with the job. Competitiveness, I understand, but than they knew what my cr...

Re: Anyone tailor their uniform shirts?

I would never wear an issued shirt. All my uniform shirts are properly bespoke from my tailor on Savile Row. They take 6-9 months to make from hand so I order well in advance. My man charges about $450 per shirt but it is well worth it to look good at work. PM me if you'd like the link.

Because ties were always stupid looking. That's the kind of tradition you don't lament the passing of.

Re: Ummm WOW

I daresay if one of us had photoshopped a university constable uniform to make them look stupid there'd be no end to the bitchery. Please do.......I'm up for a good chuckle! Nope. I don't believe in defacing any uniform. I've worn a couple of different ones and I have respect for everyone's uniform...

I wasn't aware they looked at all at a security background.

If you want to be a police officer apply to a police service. If you want to write parking tickets apply to parking jobs. One has nothing to do with the other.

. Does anyone know what kind of clothes to wear on test day? My plan is to wear a hoodie and jogging pants, I don't see a point of wearing a suit for the written test because I am not going there to impress people administering the tests, I am going there to pass the tests. Suit and tie Don't bothe...

So laws are different in France. Over there you're allowed to punch store clerks. It's in the Neapolitan Code.

I'm only reading the edited version, but it looks to me like Highbrowns is "okay" with pretty much everything.

Don't know if I'll be re-visiting this families forum though. Seems kinda boring.

Re: Walmart greeters

That's a good point. I'm not a member there, only go with others. But this is what I found. I would make sense if you don't play by their rules, they can revoke you're membership, although I couldn't find anything on penalties for not following this condition. Can't recall the maximum, but I know i...
