Re: Armed Security Question (Armored Car)
So is this a "normal" uniform for the delivery boys now?? Absolutely could have passed for a copper 100%...I though there were some rules out there about security guards and the like trying to dress up and play copper? He is a law enforcement professional like you, so what's the problem? ...

That stuff is fine, I guess, but I prefer my collection of Enyclopedia Brown, particularly those stories where he thwarts Bugs Meany.

BTW, that original post was fantastic, some creative people are wasting their time on this forum, just go straight to Hollywood.

Not me, man. I would have said, "Pickle WHAT?! Are you guys nuts?!"
But then, I find Milton a little too far north for my liking.

Yes, but I'm still stuck on this ideal police candidate missing his court date so he could hang out at the beach. That was gold.

It's not 8-4, I'll tell you that... I don't think it's appropriate to talk about it though. Part of the experience is not knowing what to expect next. Toonces was just curious....Not planning on applying or anything. Hubby is on with TPS. Sure, today he may be with TPS, but in a few years when the ...

for a few reasons: -i'm sick of making minimum wage, trying to support myself through school, on my own (no osap, loans, too many horror stories) -its the only job related to my program in some way that I can make above minimum wage, while showing an interest in a career in policing. Of course its ...

I know Algonquin College has some part time courses that apparently lead to a security license, but its $1000 for four courses, that don't total 40 hours of required training time (as told by the Ministry). I'm in Police Foundations as well. K. If you are in police foundations do you want to be a c...

Re: Armed Soldier in Public
It is just the context that this country seems to provide that made the situation seem odd or out of place. I hope to God that that attitude changes, trust me. I don't really think the Canadian culture attitude towards guns is so way off base as you suggest, but then, we haven't been so fortunate a...

I seriously modded up the ol' Venture a while back. Spent a lot o' time and cash on it. Y'know that touch up paint that you can get at Crappy Tire that matches the manufacturer's paint job? Well, I bought a bottle of it and filled in a couple of scratches. Needless to say it looks pretty f'in hot no...
