Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

Thanks for the tip, Dave! I just picked up an 18V hand drill recently, so I should be able to tee that up no problem. Just did the chamber polish, and WOW does it ever make a visible difference in the chamber. You don't notice how rough the machining is at first, but comparing to the polished surfac...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

But Dave, that breacher choke is at least LCF+100! I don't plan on adding anything to it at the moment. The only thing I would likely add would be a weapon light of some sort, but that will be a little ways down the road probably. This shotgun seems about as close to tactical perfection as I can get...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

Sorry to resurrect a somewhat old thread, but I thought this was best posted here. I've been a bad boy: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/92/61/09/926109313e4dabd44ed31cd97a95e164.jpg Bought for $300 from a fellow officer. Now to figure out how to break it to the wife.... Hopefully the fact ...

Re: Federal Election

I think the behaviour of the Cons lately has spoken to how they've become extremely arrogant because of their success and forgot who their supporters are. They're biting the hand that feeds them by alienating law enforcement and military/vet types, traditionally their staunchest supporters. If you h...

Re: Where fore art thou My Motivation???

Are you lost forever ??? O woe is me, and about to be fat and lazy lump is me :-) I can definitely relate. My problem is I pretty much hate "exercising." Not that I hate physically demanding activity, because I love things like hiking, climbing mountains, cycling, use of force training, e...

Re: No Call Too Small Philosophy

I've been in law enforcement for 8 years now. I'm not a police officer, but I've gained some perspective that might be useful. It seems that out of touch decisions from higher are fairly common in this profession. My suggestion is for officers and dispatchers to sort of get their heads together on t...
