Re: AR15 petition

I hope everyone signs this and forwards it as far afield as possible. We need as many signatures on this as humanly possible, not because I think the government will actually accept it and change the AR to non-restricted, but rather because it sends a message that may make the government think twice...

Re: Federal Election

The numbers don't lie. The idea that Conservatives are the great stewards of the economy is utter nonsense. I don't understand why some seem to cling to that idea when the evidence clearly demonstrates otherwise. http://warrenkinsella.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/federal_defecit_conservative_libe...

This is Canada, after all, where self defense is treated like a crime.

Re: Federal Election

I already voted. Conservative, obviously.

It's not a vote for Harper, it's a vote against Turdeau and Tommie the Commie.

Re: Bill C-42 ATT Condition

If you already had an ATT, then the condition has been added to your PAL. If you did not have a current ATT, like myself due to a move to a new province, then you do not have the ATT condition added to your PAL. m m It should remove the requirement since that was never written into law, that was CF...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

How does one mount the Velcro to the side of the receiver? Is it just stick-on, or is it a panel that screws on that has Velcro on it? Dave, how are the shell carriers that mount to the receiver of the 870 with the takedown pin holes? I think a few companies make them. Any recommendations for the b...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

True, unless there's some specific reason not to, it makes sense to teach a more natural movement/technique than a contrived one. Watched Chris Costa's shotgun combat reload. Seems finicky, especially the "under" version. Lots of potential for fumbling shells methinks. Of course, Jerry's g...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

Some day, I should write a book. You could call it The Book of Dave Brown In all seriousness, I tried the technique of holding the receiver in my left hand and loading with my right using my Model 12 the last time I had it out at the range and immediately saw the benefit. I started by dropping a sh...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

It's a sweet shotgun. Have you slam fired it yet? hehe I have to admit that the first time was completely inadvertent. We were doing a competition at my club and forgot to release the trigger between the last two poppers. Needless to say, my last shot missed by a bit. I slam fired 7 rounds through ...

Re: From the Book of Dave Brown

That looks just like mine. I gave a buddy of mine an old laptop, and he insisted on paying me with the Model 12. Best deal I ever made. Still need a 1911 though. It's a sweet shotgun. Have you slam fired it yet? hehe Technically, that's not a 1911, it's actually a Star Model B, which is a Spanish s...
