EPS change their physical fitness requirements

No more chin-ups, no more dips...etc. As per their website - m I'm not an applicant, but I've always wanted/planned to apply to the EPS. I had always been preparing myself to take the EPS physical, and never found anything wrong with it, but a lot of people did. I guess this is a way of getting more...

Re: Google Earth

I wonder how many "secret" military installations have turned up on Google Earth? I know that they try to censor that information but some stuff probably gets by. For example the US government still publicly denies the existence of Area 51 but there it is for the world to see on GE. Do th...

Re: Crossfit Workouts

I think I have to take a few days off then. I would like to try Fight Gone Bad again though, so I will do that first next time I work out. It will be the first time I've done a WOD twice. Even though it was only ten days ago, I'm interested to compare the two results. Thanks for the tips.

Re: Crossfit Workouts

Thought this was a decent place to ask since there are some crossfitters here...if my body is just TIRED, is it an OK idea to take a few days off from the WODs? I've done more pull-ups in the past week than in my entire life, LOL. I know there are prescribed rest days, but what do they suggest about...

Re: Crossfit Workouts

Just a question on the side. Do most of you workout at home or at a fitness club/gym? Seems to me many of you have your own equipments. I can never workout at home b/c (1st of all), I dont have the space for it and secondly, i find it impossible to focus or get motivated. All at home for me. I have...

Re: Sask Premier criticized for letting underage daughter drive

Obviously it doesn't work, hey SD?? You're living proof. I'm merely one example. I can pretty much guarantee you any kid who grew up on a farm started driving even before they were 14. Could be worse. Alberta lets you onto the main roads at only 14. Not without an adult over the age of 18. With tha...

Re: Crossfit Workouts

Well I did a version of that the other day, or last week or something. The workouts are very hard, and I sometimes have to scale back the weight or do some substitutions, but before starting CrossFit, I haven't been able to get motivated for a workout. Just seeing the comments on the website, and th...

Re: Crossfit Workouts

I started doing CrossFit about three weeks ago...WOW! I am so happy that I've finally found something that I can mostly do at home, and something that provides motivation to keep going. HUGE fan thus far!

Re: RCMP Constable Chris Worden.

Based on the radio news, it seems RCMP and EPS have a house surrounded where this guy may be located. I hope they grab him without incident.

Edit- Not in the house. :(

You obviously knew him, so I'm sorry for the loss. I am sure it is a huge blow to the entire service.
