Re: OPP Auxiliary

I only said that as OPP does it. That's all. I have read on their web pages that Aux Members are trained in firearms to the same standard as Reg Members. Not really. OPP Aux are qualified on the shotgun, and get a familiarization shoot with the P229 and the C8, thats it. They put a few rounds down ...

Re: Hobbies!

I used to do quite a bit of competition BBQ cooking, Ontario, New York, Tennessee etc. Haven't done much as of late, we are really into boating on our days off and that takes most of our free time. Nice to get away for a couple days out on georgian bay.

From Evansville Police Department (Indiana): On June 15th, Officer Thiry and his partner, Officer Peter DeYoung, responded to an accident with injury where a 6 year old child was hit by a car at Washington and Kentucky. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3a8_1362925707 A North Korean documentary about life in America. I almost spewed my cup of hot snow all over my monitor. "The poor, the lonely, and the homosexual - all huddled together." Thank goodness, now at least they have each other. Thank you, North Ko...

Re: Healthy Green Lawn

I love Scotts products. Turfbuilder for sure. I put it on now (spring) and it helps with a thick lawn. Typically I cut it once a week, sometimes twice depending on rain. Thicker the lawn, the less the weeds. I've never aerated nor de-thatched and have not had a problem. I've already cut it once and ...

Re: Pool Leaks

Not sure for OPP2, but I use my drain all the time, It enters the pump opposite my skimmer line, I have ball valves on both. When the solar cover is on, I'll switch to the drain. (Skimmer will not "skim" when the cover is on) This helps circulate the heated water from my solar array. Only ...

Re: OPP Auxiliary

Hi, I have a favor to ask: can anyone share me some info in regarding to the OPP auxiliary medical check? I passed the interview stage and the auxiliary staff sergeant told me that he has already sent my profile to Orillia for the final review and he will try to place me in June training class if I...

Re: Police vehicles can now control traffic lights

Innisfil fire, I'm sure among others, have had this for a long time. It works well for them, except where their scene is situated close to a intersections and the forget to turn it off when they stop. The lights will not change until they leave.
