Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

A lot of you have written a good comment on here to not stress about the position and keep living your life normally. It's hard tho when you really really badly want out of this security...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Just had my interview today and was fingerprinted afterwards. Is that a good sign, or is that just standard procedure now? Fingerprints are usually based on your DOB. This issue has been brought up in this forum previously. Use the search tab, it's your best friend. FYI, it's a good sign, as long a...

Re: Under armour boots

I was looking at these online last night. More than a few people were saying in reviews that the goretex version of the boot doesn't do a good job at all of keeping their feet dry. Anyone else have a problem like that? I'd like to pick up a pair of these but don't want to spend the coin on it if th...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey there, my first post. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a precedent in any field where a potential employer offers an 18 week unpaid training where the job is not at all guaranteed. I'm having trouble envisioning what kind of candidate can commit five months of life with no pay for a job that th...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Check the RCMP website for all the latest and greatest on fingerprint requirements. Then you all know why some were  and some weren't :ponder: asked for prints.
Thanks.

Well, If you can, please provide an example of what you are talking about... I am indulging because the way you came on the forum and just said that is a bit odd and if you don't provide some proof it just looks like you are fishing or instigating. I respect your opinion, whatever you say or think....

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

This does not make sense to me, they must have to give you at least a few days to find accommodations. This is in the rumor mill and i cant stand the rumor mill, lol. So my question i...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

typical..they are going full circle. Used to be when you made it through the selection process and went to CORE you were already hired and were paid while attending CTP. Our screening and hiring process should be so that the people selected will successfully pass the training unless they have a maj...
