Re: "Police army envy intimidating"

Using Grossman's ideology!

When the sheepdog kills a wolf, the sheep then run around making weird noises and being terrified of the dogs. The sheepdog gives less than 0 fucks about it, and kills the next wolf when it comes in.

I feel the same way. 0 fucks about Peter Ferguson.

Good Night.

You are correct.

The service will listen to preferences of a recruit, however like any police service you go where they say.

Re: Guelph Police and Waterloo Police

WRPS has a wide variety of different communities in the Region - and the Service is very community minded. Busy place to work. Guelph is an excellent police service as well, the new Chief (to be) is a great guy who was a Supt. in WRPS previously. Both Services are proponents of community policing an...

Re: Waterloo Regional Police

In addition to Brock, I am also a serving member and as you can see have nothing but good things to say about our police service. There's negative people in every job, it's not just policing. So take those negative ideas with a grain of salt. That goes for during / about the recruitment processes too.

Re: Toronto Police Money Problems

As per the PSA, they would need to hold a public hearing and go through A LOT of hoops to even attempt any Police Lay-offs right?

I just don't think there's any possibility that TPS laying off Police will go any further than the discussion thats already happened.

Re: Toronto Police Service

Its too bad Police can't strike. Well Bill Blair already said it himself that he would rather screw potential applicants over another year and not hire for 2012 again, then to layoff officers. We already knew this was pretty much going to happen anyways. So you're thinking that TPS should lay off s...
