Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Got the dreaded later today. I'm out! Did anyone write a letter before asking why they fell short? I'm thinking of a writing a letter asking for the reason for rejection so it can help me improve for future applications. I'm sorry to hear that Dezbryant. I was hoping to see you in August! Did they ...

Anyone who has taken the PIN test before... If I can reach just past toe line (1-2 inches) for the sit and reach test, what type of score should I expect? I am trying to get a baseline of the scoring for this test. Thanks!

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

After having done everything I could, I won't be able to go on September class due to work (army..) :( :cuss: hopefully I'll be able to get out for the January class. Good luck to everyone going on the course! Hi: How long did it take to get an email with offer letter? And did they mention that you...

Re: Going to OPC?? You're in luck what to bring-expect Threa

The white tshirt is for DT. I notice you're going with the Odots, so you'll have to write your last name on your tshirt until they give you ones from them. So just grab a cheap 3 pack. DT sessions aren't overly sweaty, so I wouldn't go overboard and buy moisture wicking just to have take a black ma...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

I see a few people are curious about whether they are going to get the offer of employment for September class. My speculation is that the most competitive applicants are contacted first to solidify their commitment to OPP. The remainder of applicants in the "Final Review" stage are most likely the...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Am I misinterpreting this? OPP emails their job offers? No phone call? I'm not an applicant, just curious. I received an offer via email last week, including the region. They state in the letter that they will notify of the detachment in a few weeks. Apparently that is where "the call" plays in. Co...

Re: Durham Regional Police AUXILIARY now recruiting

Durham Regional Police Auxiliary is currently recruiting Auxiliary Constables. I have been on with them since 2013 and they are an excellent service.
Good luck to any applicants!
