Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
I also received confirmation today for my self declaration forms. I was excited when I saw an email from CBSA on a Friday but at least that's a relief. Here's hoping for 16B for all of us! Does anyone know whats happening with 16b? Is it starting once 16a is gone from Rigaud or will there be some o...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
Since no one has had news in roughly a week, I’m going to assume the CBSA sent out a mass email and whoever answered the quickest, got the email to attend training. I hope I’m wrong though. Doesn’t seem like the health declaration was sent to everyone at the same time. Some got it earlier in the we...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
For the Health Status Declaration, does anybody know what happens if it was submitted after 10 am on Tuesday? I was having issues with the scanning function on my computer at home, and due to covid I am not in the office everyday and I had to wait until yesterday (Wednesday) to scan the forms and s...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
Any idea of we can drive our own vehicle to Rigaud? I’m not sure if CBSA provide airfare, but I am willing to drive myself on my own dime if required. Thx in advance for the info. Pre-covid that was what many were doing, both outside parkings had plenty of trainee's cars/trucks. But back then they ...

Any current or recent attendees to in-residence training want to shed some light on how week one goes? What to expect etc. Thanks. It's been a few years since I've attended but from what I remember its business attire for the first little while until uniforms are issued. That is done fairly quickly...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
Hi all,
I posted back in October that I received a job with DND, and was going to back out of the CBSA process. Luckily for me I left it open it is completed and awaiting selection for Rigaud.
The DND gig is not as enjoyable as I’d hoped.
Maybe see you all sometime soon

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
Hi all, I’d like to thank everyone on line who contributed to my questions by answering them over the last several months. I was looking forward to possibly going to Rigaud in July but covid put a halt on that, as we all know to well. I’m likely going to accept a federal government job offer in Hali...
