Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hi guys, I need advice. My CRFSC and CFSC will end tomorrow. CBSA has given me till April 3 to provide proof of completion. RCMP takes 4 to 6 weeks to mail a stamped copywhich means I may not have a copy of my results by then. In the spirit of "International Tell-It-Like-It-Is Day," perhaps you sho...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

It always amazes me when I read how applicants want to hold off on the CFSC/CRFSC until absolutely necessary; wait until the last minute; or, look for the shortest/cheapest course out there that they can find. Good grief. Take it NOW. Look for the longest, most expensive and BEST CFSC/CRFSC course ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Given my timeline, does anyone know when I should roughly expect the OITP and call to Rigaud? Do you suggest I do the gun course now or when I get the call? It always amazes me when I read how applicants want to hold off on the CFSC/CRFSC until absolutely necessary; wait until the last minute; or, ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Given my timeline, does anyone know when I should roughly expect the OITP and call to Rigaud? Do you suggest I do the gun course now or when I get the call? If you are waiting for an invite without CFSC and CRFSC courses done and tests passed, you may wait for a while. I believe passing these is a ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Seems like they have you in a loop which I'm worried about as well since my medical expires next month and I'm hoping they can complete it next month and get me a intake for July/August Oh really eh. Ya that’d be best bet right. So do they email you regarding a medical, pare and psych re-evaluation...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Goodmorning everyone! For the people who didn’t go through to Quebec, I’m curious; what is your applicant number? Mine is 18-BSF-EA-NBSO-FB-007. Curious to see if this setup has something to do with the order! Everyone who got accepted seems to be 16-BSF etc. Hi, my process number states16-BSF-EA-N...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Got my invite for 15d and sent in the acceptance, did anybody get confirmation of their acceptance yet? I just want to make sure it was received lol. Been waiting two years for this. When did you get it today? Might be cause it’s the weekend I got my invite yesterday, sent the confirmation last nig...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hi all, I.got my secret security clearance day before yesterday. Does anyone have an idea how long it usually takes to get an OTIP invite after the clearance? It took me about 8 months to get invited after I got my clearance, but it varies person to person. About a 2.5 year process for me so far. T...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey guys, The last steps I did were the medical exam in Oct 2019 and before that secret clearance submission in September 2019. I am wondering if anyone is in the same boat. I haven't heard back about my security clearance although I remember the interviewer told me they were looking to induct for ...
