Well, the Vancouver Police Department offers a mini selection for Constable positions to determine competitiveness before candidates commit to laser eye surgery. It is not about the cost, but the risks that are associated with laser eye surgery. No elective surgery is without risks, but I would take on these risks if I was given a conditional offer from the force. My biggest fear and worse case scenario would be getting the surgery, having an adverse sympto...
