Re: Ask the CBSA!

Re: CBSA Equipment

If you are so damn lazy you don't want to do that maybe you need another job. WTF man? Where did lazy come from? I "need another job" cause I drive 5kms to my house in my kit? You're one year out of probation, and you make a call like that on the rest of us? Grow up and put some time in b...

Re: CBSA Equipment

Any uniformed law enforcement officer should not be going to and from work in their uniform. They should not be stopping to get gas or going grocery shopping in uniform. At the very least, take your uniform shirt off and do your errands and driving with your undershirt/tshirt. It is unprofessional ...

Re: CBSA Equipment

There is absolutely no reason to wear your kit home. I see officers in my area doing it and I have told them of the risks of doing so. I get told im paranoid and that im being rediculous. I have no need for people to see me in kit. Only time the gear comes home is if Im going to UofF the next morni...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Does anyone know what is the 10 week training in Rigaud about? Rigaud? Never heard of it. Is it really hard to pass? Impossibly hard. No one passes. No one has ever passed. Like if you study really hard what are the chances of passing? Zero. It's all a ploy to have you study and waste your time and...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Employee requested moves/deployments net you UP TO $5000. Doesn't mean they write you a cheque for 5 G's... they will reimburse you for your actual costs that you have spent, providing proof (ie receipts), up to the 5 grand. It covers milage, hotels, house hunting trip, flight, packers/uhaul, etc. ...

Re: CBSA Armorial Bearing "Countdown"

We've brought up the warrant card/designation card issue with our management and have been told that because we are designated under the act we will not be issued any. I think our authority should be printed on the back of our CBSA ID card (which should be improved as well). New officers in our are...
