Re: Toronto Police Service

Hi there, I applied on Jan 9th and is now Jan 20th. I am just curious as to how long some of you guys took to get emailed for the first interview? You first need to submit your application package. Did you get to that stage yet? What do you mean by that? I applied online by uploading my cover and r...

Re: Police services and ATS

In my opinion, a certificate of results from ATS may hold more weight with certain services. For example, YRP has decided that as of 01Jan that they will no longer be participating in the OACP CSS. I wonder why that is? Perhaps they feel that the new testing to achieve a certificate is somewhat que...

Re: Police services and ATS

York regional police said the other day that as of January first 2020. An OACP certificate will no longer be required to apply. I think they're doing their own aptitude testing which is required before the PQB but their application package still asks for an OACP certificate. As well as having your ...

Re: Police services and ATS

I would hold off until the new year applying for ATS. This might be the year it’s gone from all police services. I have it but I highly doubt they are getting rid of it. From a provincial service, it made sense for them dropping it for a variety of reasons. Municipal services will definitely keep t...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Not sure if anyone has any answers to this, however I've been in post-secondary schooling for the last 8 years with 2 undergrads, a post grad, and a masters which I'm just finishing. I've always had a bit of a knack for policing and did a fair bit of volunteering during my under grad years. On top ...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Hi all, I just had my LFI/ECI today and I am seriously so nervous. I have never applied for a constable position prior to this! I don't know if my interview went well or poorly, which is concerning. I did ramble a bit. I found myself losing my train of thought somewhat. I really hope I get into the...
