Re: MTO (Ontario) officers - provincewide postings

I got an email today about my process. I am out. I did not make the elegibility list. Oh well...

The email also says that I can get feedback about my process by an informal discussion. I am curious to know what went wrong.

I hope you guys have better news on your selection processes. :)

Re: MTO (Ontario) officers - provincewide postings

I got invited for an interview for MTO officer. I have been working for CBSA for several years and I was wondering how does the MTO compares to the BSO position (shifts, salary, benefits, time off, overtime, etc). Based on my early findings, it looks very similar. However, CBSA has been without a co...

Re: The Love Guru

You guys want to hear something funny? I worked for a day as an extra for this movie. Something even funnier? I haven't watched the movie yet to see if my scene is there or if it was cut. The cool part: Jessica Alba was less than 5 ft away. Since all the reviews went from bad to worse, I will just w...

Re: Inland Enforcement Officer

Does anyone know how long after the interview you get the results?

There is a CDT scheduled for Aug 18th.

The big question is: how many people are they hiring in total? Based on the posts here, looks like CBSA is on a hiring-spree!

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hi Guys I just would like to see some light at the end of the tunnel... Applied for BSO on Nov 01 2007 - Never heard anything from the agency yet. So basically, wasn't contacted yet to write the test. Applied again under the new posting for rural locations on May 23 2008. Same thing. I was "in...

Re: New CBSA job posting

It is the one for certain regions that I am talking about. It also requires post secondary education.

But the original question was: any news/time lines about this process?

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Does anybody know anything about the new posting time line? The one for the rural locations that ended on May 29th.

Is it going to be a faster process? Or basically the same as the regular one (over a year)?

Thanks

Re: Toronto Police Court Officer Testing

Any news about the Fall class for TSP? I had an interview on May 12th and they told me that there is some budget issues that could affect the Fall class. My buddy also had an interview mid-may. He said that they were looking to fill positions for Fall 2008 and possibly early 2009. They did not say ...
