Re: Insurance Companies?

Insurance companies differ from person to person, so just get a good insurance brooker. That way they can put your info into their system and try and find the company offering the best rate for you at the moment. I'm saving around $460 after doing that.

Re: parking tickets/lic. plate sticker

Yeah, sounds like a real winner... and you sound like a loser who spends time on message boards all day digging into what people say. i came this far without problems and just asked a simple question. 'dug up' was information i didnt mention on my application because i wasnt aware of its relevence....

Yeah, just kind of wondering what authorizes these volunteer groups to drive their personal vehicles in a way to block traffic on a highway. Seems a bit sketchy.

Never heard of them ever sending letters for an interview. I'm sure if you haven't received a call for one by now, your out of luck.

Re: A Newbie Question

It was changed from 200 hours a year minimum to 150 hours minimum almost 2 years ago now..

And it says right on the information package off the website:

• Due to the amount of time required in the selection and training process we ask all
members to stay for a minimum of two years

Re: A Newbie Question

Says right on the website for you to make a two year commitment to the program. If you weren't prepared for that, drop out and give someone else your spot who can make that commitment.
