You’ve been in this process for,I’m assuming, at least a year. How can you not be ready for a four minute run?
Remember when the PARE was part of the application process... :rage:

Having graduated yesterday from Depot, I could honestly say that those 6 months were probably the best 6 months of my life.
Blink twice if a recruiter has a gun to your head...

I kid! I kid!

Congratulations on graduating depot and starting your career.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

You guys are both speculating about a coin-flip gamble.... Were you not listening when Highlander said he was found Psychologically unfit by the RCMP psychologist but found Psychologically fit by the CBSA psychologist. It is the exact same evaluation... just a different psychologist. This wild specu...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I'm not sure if he was being sarcastic? 88) I was pretty sarcastic but I could care less. The only negative feelings I have right now are the 18 months I spent in the application process that boiled down to a zodiac sign questionnaire and a 10-minute interview. Highlander, your situation of being f...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

How long after your interview did you receive the results? This seems to vary greatly for people, but in my case was around 6 weeks. Thanks for your quick reply! 6 weeks is a super long wait, I'd by dying... With my OTEE, the wait became more bearable the longer it was, just easier to put it out of...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

My interview was 10 minutes long and The psychologist asked 2 questions about my answers and then asked his own questions which were unrelated to the booklets. (I had my interview on the same day as my testing.) I don't feel very confident about the whole thing but whatever, prepared myself for the ...

I have changed positions several times and was promoted a year and a half ago. Many people have opportunities to move winthin 2-3 years of starting off in patrol “GD”. I have never spent more then 3 years in a spot, several times much shorter but it was all my choice, I just applied for new positio...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Since we're all talking timelines.

I got my test results back in a week and then got invited to an interview a week after. Do with that information what you will, maybe you should contact recruiting.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Train well your "empty circle filling with a pen" abilities, and prepare for 2 questionnaires - one with around 600 questions, another with around 200. FYI - the room temperature most likely will be around 21 degrees, after sitting there a few hours, may get chilly ;) Have you gotten your results b...

I was wondering if anybody happened to know when courses for CBSA will be starting? I need to get in shape for the PARE Test and want to ensure I sufficient time to train for it so I can pass it.
