Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Has anyone had experience re-scheduling any of their appointments to a later date due to one of the valid reasons stated? I just received the date for my Psych eval but unfortunately I will be out of the province for that date and have already bought plane tickets. Im wondering how the whole resche...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Imagine the first day in Rigaud and we all say : "What is your username in BlueLine ?" or after hearing a few details about the person to say : "Aren't you "xxxxx" from blueline " ? ;) Good luck to all in the process ahead ! Won't be too hard to find out who Jean Francois is! He has his actual pict...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I'll just do the easy stuff first about where I wanna be posted 1. Anywhere in Alberta, prefer Calgary Int'l Airport 2. Southern B.C. at any land border crossing or Vancouver Int'l Airport 3. Ontario, not too familiar with Ontario aside from scary housing prices but Pearsons Int'l Airport I guess. J...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I received the email as well: Congrats ! Things are moving forward. Meh, everyone across the country receiving the same email is hardly considered moving forward. Psych eval dates are still gonna vary a ton. I doubt my Alberta date will be close to the Ontario dates. Still happy to just not be forg...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hey, Guys! I have an update! I was jumping for joy 1 hour ago at my workout, then I was only sorta jumping for joy. I got an email from the CBSA, which was strange since I thought I was supposed to get an email from the psychologist directly, but oh well, didn't bother me. But I was disappointed to ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Is the firearms course required before the college? or before OITP? Regardless of when exactly it is needed, I'd recommend just taking it now. It's a short and fun course that has a use outside of the CBSA. At my course, we were able to handle the firearms such as loading and unloading snap-caps an...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Yes for sure Tornelco; Let's hope. But given how's it been six months that is discouraging. I am applying to TPS in November and I expect the whole recruitment to take three months, pass or fail. is anybody aware of a # for CBSA recruiting? I was also looking into some police services, a lot of the...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Seems like things are finally starting to move! Congrats to everyone who's gotten a Psych Eval email! Hoping to get mine very soon :D I do hope that all this action is a good sign for You, Me, and Jean. I try to be as patient as I can, but i go through phases of being impatient/anxious to move on! ...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Received my date and time today for the testing portion of the Psych Evaluation 😁. You and I are in the same processs (we both applied in January). So, I'm hoping this long wait will soon see some action! Also might be a long shot since someone from Toronto will have much more opportunity for a psy...

I passed the Interview!

So stoked, I was mentally prepared to fail it... I really thought I could have answered those questions better. I'm glad that whatever it is they see in me, that they still do....
