Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

Sorry for the delay, yes it was competency based, fairly quick (around 40 minutes) and they ask you scenario based questions surrounding the competencies. Unfortunately Ive been racking my brains trying to remember an example question but just cant remember. Hope this helps at least a little So, th...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hola, I'm waiting for the FC call. If I can not take the call, does he leave a voice message or he will try to call another day? Thank you :) It is email. Unless you're referring to the RMAQ, you'll get an email or a call, or both in my case, and a date and time for the actual phone interview will ...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Yep, actually handed down 3 deferrals, this is my fourth attempt, been trying for 7 years to get into policing with the RCMP. Now I’m nearing the final stage of my current process and even then there are no guarantees, but I have learned a very valuable lesson, keep trying, never quit. My persisten...

I was wondering, if all references and friends are contacted that are listed on form 330-60 and 3165. TIA
Depends on how the background investigator is feeling.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Not sure if this question has been asked before but I am struggling to find an answer. I currently attend Carleton University and I am studying Criminology and Criminal Justice. They offer an honours degree, 4 year program, and a general degree, 3 year program, but they are both considered official...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Speaking of deferrals... I first applied 13 years ago back when the application process was extremely competitive and your test score determined IF you would even be contacted to receive the selection package (seems like everyone gets a selection package now). I never received one. The next year I ...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

I had to redo everything although I had passed everything up until that point the year prior. Big yikes at your timeline, lots of people here complaining about their security clearance taking 1-3 months and then you've been waiting since August. Hope you get rewarded for your patience soon! Anyways...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

This should weigh HEAVILY into your choice of employer. Essentially, you’re all looking at having to pu...

Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

Wow, guys Tommy Douglas is rolling in his grave. Just got charged $60 to get medical clearance to run the PAT... Where muh free healthcare at tho. We should only need medical clearance if we are unsure of ourselves. I've ran the PARE before and passed without any medical complications. Alberta does ...
