When I went to core in regina, there was a car rental agency and hotel nearby that offered discounted rates to cadets. Is anybody aware of the same type situation near the Atlantic Police Acade...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Hi there. Congrats to everyone who got a conditional letter. I'm earlier on in my process - just got the invite for my CTP Stage 1. As you know, you get 1 month to do this CTP 1 online course. My questions: How much time should I budget daily? Is it pretty laborious and reading oriented, or is it o...

I heard CSC does not provide work boots. Could I use my used boots or do I have to buy new.
I heard they have to be specific boots and I think they reimburse you up to $200.00 but i'm not too sure. Keep the receipts and ask later if they will; that's what I'm going to do.

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Hi, everyone, One question on behalf of my friend, she applied both CX-1 position and CX-2/primary worker position. She failed CX-2 written test but was successful on CX-1 test. She wondered, if she is luck enough to become a CX-1, how can she become a CX-2 in future? Does she still need to apply l...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Hello all, I’m wondering how long it takes to hear back after an interview? How soon do the references get contacted. Do you get notified whether I passed or failed ? It was a few days before my references were contacted. I have not been told if I had passed any step of the interview besides CTP1. ...

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

Hi, everyone, I am going to apply CSC in the next few days. I passed their written test in Apr 2017, passed the interview in June 2017 and the psychological assessment test in Aug 2017. Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

I received an invite today for CTP 3 in PEI and a confirmation of interest from the Prairie Region.
