Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hey everyone, Longtime browser here, finally decided to join the conversation. Just received a date for my security interview so that’s exciting. Not overly worried about that but I’m curious if my having smoked weed during my college years will come up/impact my process. It’s been 4 years since I ...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

I haven't received exam results yet, but I was just wondering about the PARE. I've run the PARE with a local Police Department during their recruitment and scored a 3:30. Is that time going to be good enough to pass, or move into the next stage? I know 4:45 is the qualifying time, but I'm almost sur...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Hey everyone! I took the OTEE online today and it went well, for the most part. I actually got stuck on a section and lost some time there overthinking my answers. So in the end after 2 hours and 30 minutes of the allotted time I completed about 105 out of the 132 questions. Am I the only one here ...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

There is no polygraph, but they will likely ask questions about your history, ie. alcohol and drug use. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Just be honest. That's what they're looking for. No one is a saint, but if you can show that you are honest and learned from your past then you will be in a better po...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I just received the email advising that I would get my exam results back in the coming weeks. Obviously a lot of people were asking them and they sent out a mass email.

All we can really do is sit back and wait.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

On the CBSA website it says that you may receive a document request simultaneously as the written exam portion of the recruitment. Someone on another thread mentioned that they received the request only a few days after writing the test. I don't think getting that email means you passed. Last year I...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

Is this otee exam done online at home? Or are we required to go to specific place like before. Yes, the OTEE exam is done online at home and it's a 2.5 hour multiple choice exam. They send you a link in the email invitation to confirm your participation and that's all you have to do before the exam...
