Re: Military Police Fund for Blind Children

Every year a group of MP's attend the school for the blind in Brantford to help hand out Xmas presents. They do an awesome job and the students love the interaction. Definitely a just cause

Re: Guardian Angels want to come back to Toronto.

I know the shitstorm is coming for my opinion, but I for one welcome anybody (including the Guardian Angels) trying to make a difference. The more eyes and ears out there with good intentions the better. Yes we would have to deal with the bad calls (false arrests, injuries etc) that they create, but...

Re: A.T.R.'s Duty Knives Thread

Gerber = Poo. Gerber + Bear Grylls = Diarrhea. Gerber is a crap company now. Their product is farmed out so much so that a lot of the blade steels are a mystery and the Gerber Bear Grylls branded products are shit. One of the Gerber Bear Grylls fixed blades has caught my eye for a very simple bag o...

Surefire scout is an excellent light. Lightweight and powerful enough, but as with anything is not cheap.
We have them mounted on a few.

H&K parts retailer

Looking for a reference for a H&K parts retailer. Specifically looking for a rear sight spring for the UMP .40. Cannot seem to find a parts retailer in this hemisphere that has one. Any suggestions would be great.....besides ordering from H&K directly.....a last resort if needed. Thanks Pup

Ok,
Where has everyone determined to be the best place to buy these if your service doesn't issue them?

Any links?

Re: A.T.R.'s Duty Knives Thread

My new EDC. A Benchmade 9052. A little larger than I'm used to, but I'm getting used to it. Locks open solid, and shaving sharp out of the box.

I also carry the Nimravus for my "other" job ;)

Re: Remington 700P Light Tac Rifle

Yeah, it's a good gun all around. Hard to go wrong with that. BTW, how many shots are you using to measure your groupings? Much harder to get 1/2 MOA with 5rounds than 3 :sniper:

Re: Cpl. Pat Audet and Cpl. Martin Joannette

I was on Pat's (MCpl Audet) Bearer Party. I've been on 16 previous bearer details, overseas, and have always been humbled by it. This last one struck close to home, having actually known Pat but, what really put things into perspective was watching the Van Doo Bearer party for Cpl Joanette. There w...
