Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

I've read in some previous threads of applicants referring to the Psych as "taking the phych", "writing the psych" and having a "psych follow up". From my understanding, you are required to complete a written MMPI-2 which takes about an hour and a half. Does everyone have a follow-up regarding the e...

Re: Keep the Peace - a law enforcement strategy game

Wow, I played through all four games in the Collection, pretty much back-to-back, when it first came out in 95. They were a major inspiration, but SWAT 2, a few years later, probably had the biggest impact on my desire to make a game like this. SWAT 2 was great, I like the turn based feel of the mo...

What's you opinion on Tahoe vs. Explorer?

Those two seem to be the most popular choices.

Re: Purchase of surplus ex-police/government vehicles

I wouldn't recommend it. Fleet vehicles are typically run 24/7 by many different drivers, all with vastly different driving styles. Because of this strain, the lifespan of the transmission is usually far less than a non fleet vehicle. Would you recommend buying an Ex RCMP patrol vehicle over a non-...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

What does BGI stand for? It stands for Be a Good Invstigator. If this is a career you are actually committed to you should be taking every possible opportunity to seek out this information without having to come on here and ask questions for which the answers are more than readily available, not ju...

I believe DSU stands for Departmental Security Unit. I could be wrong, just what I’ve read on the forum.

Hey, has anyone recently had their Polygraph Interview? How did it go? What are some things that I can expect? Also, how does submitting milage and travel expenses work? Regards, I had my PEP in April and was notified I passed in May. Frankly, there's not much anyone can tell you on it because it's...

Re: Saskatoon Police Service

Everyone, I passed the Sigma and the psychological questionnaire. My next step is the physical requirements test. I failed it twice before, because the 6 foot match jump is a problem for me. On the third or 4th lap I can't make it, and so my time increases. So far my best time is four minutes and 55...

Re: *** ASK AN ONTARIO RCMP RECRUITER ***

Does Ontario police realistically consider Saskatchewan applicants?

Considering there are so many applicants from with in Ontario that are qualified, and due to the recent surge of applications, a competitive factor is high.
