Re: Refusal

As a future (defence...maybe) lawyer, I'm going to love these charges as well. I do not think there is an area of law that police mess up more than the impaireds.

Re: Do the Mounties need an Association?

Yes. The current form of representation has been deemed unconstitutional, basically because there is insufficient distance between the current representative body (the SRR), and RCMP management. Re: OPP Officer Accident / unfortunate death

But all of the (undeserved) coverage of MJ...

Re: personal vehicles for police duties??

They must be a pretty small outfit, although cool to be able to take your car home with you. Horrible in the sense that are the same expectations required of you in the event that you get into a pursuit? Who is going to fix the car if it gets damaged? That just shy of 500/month is going to mean piss...

Re: 02 Aug 2007 - York Region Police Officer Killed On Duty

Thanks to all of you who came out to show support for our fallen brother. It was very fitting. I was speaking with one guy w/ our Training Branch say that at some funerals they say good things about the person who passed away even if they may not have been all that much of a good person, because it'...
