Re: Peel Regional Police

Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if an applicant can be deferred by any police service if he/she wasn't successful with other police services during the interview stage. For example: I have my interview coming up with peel so not being successful with York during the interview stage, would tha...

No they dont. You have less brain cells than a door mat. Do you even know what a turban is? Why does everyone love to chime in so much, god you are so stupid.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

The HSD is slowly moving towards 5/4. Having worked 5/4 and the 4/4, I found my sleep schedule was better on the 4/4, but my personal life was better on the 5/4. YMMV. As for calls, they can come at any time - I was given an offer three weeks prior to starting, others were given an offer two weeks ...

Re: Removed From Process

So, I emailed TPS before reading your response and they said I can apply to any service just I can not apply to any job opportunity within TPS until June 2020. So then you didn't fail the Psych. Just the BGI. Which is good i guess? I know a failed psych eliminates you from all Ontario services for ...

Re: Psychological assessment Fail

Im assuming you're YRP? What was your cumulative volunteer hours? Also for OP, Im sorry to hear that bud, don't think too hard on it and too much into it. You went hit a stage where many people didn't get the opportunity to reach. Try again and you'll achieve it. Nope, not YRP. My cumulative volunt...

Re: Psychological assessment Fail

Well guys, that's it. I was invited for the YRP psychological test (Minnesota 2.0 or smth like this) and the evaluation with the psychologist. and 1 week after, I received the terrible call from my recruiter informing that I didn't pass this stage and therefore I would be removed from the hiring pr...

Re: Removed From Process

I was on the process with TPS I passed ECI and I advanced to BGI and Psychological Assessment. Re: Post-Secondary Education Options

Less than 1%. I'm cracking up.

Also, any college attached to a MINI MALL probably isn't legit. Then again, if the 118 students couldn't figure that out, I'm glad they never got in lol

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Hi everyone, I submitted my application in April and received the letter of rejection today. I did not move forward in any aspect of the selection process. I was wondering if this hinders my ability to apply to other services like York Region? Thanks! No, however, York is a lot more competitive tha...

Re: fitness pin % calculator

It's very straight forward.

Run is worth 50 marks.
Push ups is worth 20.
Plank is 20.
Sit and reach is 10.

You need 75/100 (lol realistically for most people, you need 85% or more to be competitive).

Re: Did I waste my money?

I would ask you guys for an honest answer but you guys give the brutal hardcore honest answers anyway. lol What do you think about the Athlean X Special-Tactix program? He says he will train you to get ready for any police or military test. The program is mostly running and weights. I have the FORC...

Re: Post-Secondary Education Options

Hi Dave, Thank you for your post. I was really searching for something regarding this. I'm preparing to do my PREP/ and all the other tests while I prepare my application. I'm a recent University graduate with a B.A (Honours) and speak two languages with limited community service. Most of my employ...

Re: Winnipeg Police Class #163

Somewhere between 1 and a 1000. Again, you are asking other applicants to violate the confidentiality of the process. How will any agency now feel they can trust you with the secrecy of information for the next 30 years? My apology, for the action. I didn’t know it was against the group policy. I'm...
