Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT
I am not going to have an argument with you. You have your own opinion and I have mine.
Your opinion is baseless and giving people on here horrible advice. This is the equivalent of me telling Peter or any other more experienced officer on here that my opinion somehow holds the sam...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

hey everyone, I will be applying CBSA as soon as they start the next intake. I will be graduating from the police foundation program in 2 weeks and finally going to apply for my dream job. My question is the importance of community involvement. I know that in policing community involvement is a con...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Hey! I am currently a student at Carleton University in Ottawa studying Criminology and Criminal Justice. I am nearing the end of my 2nd year and trying to decide between staying in my current 4 year program which is considered an honours degree or switching to a 3 year program which is considered ...

Re: Halton Regional Police

So, I want to share what just happened to me. I applied to Halton Police 2017. I was able to advance until my LFI where I was not successful. I also apply to other services and I did not get a call. I waited over a year, I went back to college ( I didn't have a college diploma because after high sc...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Not sure if this question has been asked before but I am struggling to find an answer. I currently attend Carleton University and I am studying Criminology and Criminal Justice. They offer an honours degree, 4 year program, and a general degree, 3 year program, but they are both considered official...

Re: Traffic Tickets

That post was from 12 years ago. Your question is not only highly inappropriate, this is not an "ask a cop" forum. You have now asked the same question twice in two different and wholly inappropriate places in this forum, so we suspect that you have nothing of value to contribute. Officers get dumb...

Re: Toronto Police Service

You TPS folk are coming at a good time. At parade yesterday our Acting Inspector read out what you guys got in this latest contract negotiation.

The other big services are going to have to attempt to match that if they want to hold onto their members.

Re: Hired!

Finally get to post in here. After applying to the RCMP in 2014 and getting deferred at Final Review, and applying to 10+ Ontario agencies in 2017 and not getting a single interview, I can say that I have been hired with Halton as a Police Constable for the May OPC class. Absolute dream come true. ...

Re: What do you drive/Dream car

I drive a Nissan Micra haha, gets me from point A to B. Fuel efficient. Cheap to maintain. Dream car is a Koenigsegg Jesko. My question always is, if you want an econobox fine; but why not drive something that's at least more fun/better looking that's in the same price bracket? Ie) Mazda 3 etc. Bec...

Re: Peel Regional Police

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has received an email to notify them about upcoming LFA's? For the coming months March? Hey I got an email on March 4th, and attended LFA on March 6th. I can confirm that they asked us to be ready to run the shuttle in the afternoon, after the PBQ in the ...

Re: Toronto Police Service

Hey everybody! I applied with toronto police in late October and got through the entire process, wrapping it up in the middle of december. A few weeks ago i received a rejection email, which is okay as it was my first time applying to any service. The problem is that it did not mention when i can r...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Should have probably been or be (ironically) financially responsible and have a savings to carry you through 4.5 months with the supplement they will give you. If you’re in dire straits, if you get in, I would suggest getting a line of credit or loan to get through it. RCMP is six months and same t...
