I was speaking to one of my references, he said that he was already contacted in regards to the position. This happened in July. I thought references were to be contacted after the successful compl...

Re: OPP Auxiliary

If your first instinct is to LIE on an application, this career isn't for you. I am shaking my head at people encouraging you. Clearly they're not on the job, or they wouldn't be giving you any sort of advice other than to change your career goals. Why shaking your head to the people encouraging hi...

Re: OPP Auxiliary

Hey, I'm new to the forums and I stumbled upon this thread because I too want to apply to the OPP Auxiliary. I have a few questions though. 1. I have been asked to resign from my previous workplace, I did something I'm not proud of and I have changed since then. Because of that I have not put that ...

Re: OPP Auxiliary

As what subbie said, BE SPECIFIC especially dates and time. They might say before commencing the interview that they will not do eye to eye contact to you during the interview. So be confident, truthful and straight to the point when answering the questions. Give yourself time to construct your word...

Re: OPP Auxiliary

I submitted my background investigation docs in the last week of March. Still haven't heard anything back. I was not born in Canada. Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Congrats to everyone who has gotten the call, that's so amazing and good luck to all of you! I can't help but smile when I read through this and see that people have gotten the calls, or have been successful through the process and are posting updates. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how we get...
