Re: TCHC Special Constables: 32 Positions

You will need a valid COR upon application or sworn in as a peace officer within the last 5 years with valid PIN upon hire (Special constable, police constable, correctional officer, CBSA, conservation etc.) MLEO and bylaw officers are not included in this exemption and are required to have a compl...

Re: TCHC Special Constables: 32 Positions

No. Just a valid COR from ATS.
If you had Peace Officer status in the past 5 years (POO, MLEO, Public Works Peace Officer included), No ATS required. But you will have to do the PIN fitness test at some point as a condition of employment. And of course a satisfactory BGI with TPS.

Hope this helps.

https://www.instagram.com/mleo_ontario/ Plenty of by-law with UOF tools, some even with Red/white lights. Take your pic and show your bosses why they're wrong Thoe are mostly GTA bylaw services where much of that is needed. There is no Provincial governance how by-law should look, what they should ...

Re: The subject of arming western Community Peace Officers

Sad part is CPOs are staying quiet on the matter for fear of being disciplined or losing their authorties And if that happens, you guys will be demoted to a by-law officer. Ontario Style. For the most part CPO's are glorified bylaw/security who can do unarmed traffic stops for TSA violations. Of co...

You could, however, enlist in the US Army ... there are opportunities for the role of MP.-- cheers Any branch of DOD wont let you touch their computers (even to check e-mail) unless you have US citizenship. However, I do have a friend that left Canada to marry a US citizen. Once she got her full ci...

Re: Your opinion - By-law/MLEO Uniforms, PPE and Vehicles

Ontario needs to adopt the Alberta / NWT / Saskatchewan CPO/CSO program for it's MLEO services. Its a program that WORKS. Period. There's far too much total BS in Ontario....left hand literally has no idea what the right hand is doing and the MLEO business in Ontario is a mix n match of varying rol...
