Peterborough Police Auxiliary.

Hey all,

Forgive me if this thread exists already, I did a brief search and didnt find it.

Peterborough police recently did a recruitment for applications for auxiliary constable which closed on October 26th.

Has anyone received any updates or has anyone else applied to that?

Re: Pass drug usage RCMP applicant

Let me put it to you this way: The RCMP dumped my application after they found out i had FRIENDS who smoked weed (which will be legal soon, ironically enough), even though I personally have never done drugs and I don't drink. Good luck. Lol That makes zero sense. I dont know you or your application...

Re: Appealing a Deferral

recently had some experience with an appeal process, which resulted in a very positive outcome...I know and understand that no agency owes you nothing BUT if you want something-fight for it...so I did I know there is an opinion that other jobs don't offer you an appeal, so why should we...totally a...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Like others, i am hoping to get into policing as well, however i think of this as more an opportunity to gain experience from a different angle of the justice system before policing and benefit from that experience when i apply. I do not think i am owed anything, i certainly do not think its an auto...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Yes; for those wondering I wrote my tests in February, I feel that my process was quite fast, I had a few hiccups in my security Clearances just because I was previously living in Nova Scotia; perhaps they are looking for more females and that’s why I was able to proceed so fast ? The reason for no...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Like the news reports said; correctional officers, firefighters and police were exempted from the freeze, I’m just curious what the chances of having another COTA in October is, and if infact I do choose to decline the chance in August what the chances of the COTA on October will be. The recruiting...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

...I'm at OPC and the food is excellent... You have to do a wing run one night. Head down Hacienda Road and hang a right on Highway 3 (Talbot St. E.). As you come into town you'll see Cy's on your left, just before the used car lot. Don't be put off by the bowling alley - you're not going there for...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

To those at COTA: How's it going? Pretty good here at OPC. In week 4, workload has finally begun to die down as far as bookwork goes. No major hiccups so far. Any specific questions feel free to PM. Don't want to get too specific on an open forum lol. Great group of people though. Best advice I can...

Re: Failed/Not Hired? Let us know!

I failed my interview with the CBSA back in April. Of course I can't state what the interview was like or what parts of it I failed. It definitely came as a surprise to me though. I've been the Shift Supervisor of a large high production mill crew for the past 6 years and before that I was in the C...
