Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hi everyone, Just one question, I have to get a criminal record check done for my current job to access a couple buildings to do maintenance. I recently did my Right Fit Interview and waiting on the next steps. Just wondering if having a criminal record check done will raise any red flags in my app...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Beards are allowed at depot with the same rules as regular members (except strictly enforced and monitored). If you want one you better show up with it. You cannot grow it in while you are there. Beards are to be between 0.5cm and 2.5cm trimmed on the neck and cheeks. Must be kept clean. Exactly th...

Re: Calgary Police Service

I have a curiosity question for anyone who has completed the A-PREP. During the shuttle run, once you have achieved level 7 do they stop the exam or do they continue until everyone has dropped off? Thank you

Hi folks, I have another question about the process. During the application A-PREP, do they stop the beep test at level 7 or do they let it keep going? Thank you.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Just wondering how often is Ontario accepting cadets from depot? Obviously odds are way lower to get in o division. But wondering around how many they take a year? It has been said time and time again that if your only aspiration is to get to Ontario after depot, your best bet would be to apply to ...

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Im dating myself because I did it years ago, but it was great. Its stressful because its a full week, but its perfectly doable if you prepare yourself. In a way its very satisfying going from step to step in such a condensed period. The people were also great, I felt grateful to be there and at the...

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

For those that have gone through the process as out of province applicants. How did you find the process when you flew into Edmonton? I'm curious as I just got my invite to fly out and complete it my testing.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hey folks, So my re-insertion SP has passed secondary review and my file has been sent to suitability. When I was deferred last summer, I was deferred at suitability. Would that indicate I may have been exempt from repeating all the other steps? I know no one can say for sure but any insight would b...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hey guys, Asking this question because I’m getting quite nervous haha. So I submitted my selection package in PDF format as requested. What I did was simply enter the original epost connect chat and then upload the documents 1 at a time as instructed. However I checked the chat and it hasn’t been o...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

So its safe to say, I am officially back in the process. I was deferred last June until April 1st 19. Re-applied on the 2nd, received my selection package on the 15th, sent it in the 19th (only minor address changes and a few new questions to answer on the RMAQ but most of it was relatively the same...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Ohh ok, your timeline only shows 2 deferrals, looks like they were 2 years each? am I correct? How long was the first one for! I was actually gonna pm you earlier but i feel like deferrals are a sensitive and private topic. I was looking at joining the CAF as well but I couldn't get any information...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

For those that were deffered but re-applied. Roughly how long did you wait to find out what stage you were inserted at, whether it be back at SP or further?

Thanks
