I really don't think you're going to get the type of answers you're looking for here. the fact that you've thought of all this is a little strange. if I were you I would just pay the ticket. You said yourself you were in the wrong. Thinking of what...that there's a chance he won't show up? When I c...

Yes, looking at a schedule makes me a stalker. He's on the same platoon (mind you, in a different division) as a friend of mine, I just asked him what he was working on the day of my court date.

A ticket I got...

I've got a question for y'all. First off, let me say that I know I'm 100% guilty and I should probably just STFU and pay the ticket. Over a year ago, I had made a left turn onto Bloor Street (from Northbound Yonge). There is a sign saying no left turns at any time. However, a few hundered meters up ...

Yes, I follow ambulances. Christ. Eastern Avenue is one of the busiest streets in that area. There IS a Tim Hortons right there. Pulling out of the Loblaws parking lot wanting to go east - it's a hell of a lot easier/faster to take Eastern Ave than it is to go down Leslie and wait for the light. Why...

There was quite the activity down at the clubhouse in Toronto (there still is). I was by there awhile ago, loads of cars (marked and otherwise) about the area.

Excellent job by everyone involved!

Hmmm.... sayyyy.... does anyone know why U of T police no longer has red lights to the front? It's a stab in the dark, but I would imagine it's because there isn't an allowance for them to have them under the HTA. Personally, I think the blue LED's look MUCH better than their old red lights did any...

So, the traffic ticket that I have sitting here. If I don't pay it by it's due date, I run the risk of having my license suspended. However, if I got a PON for trespassing, the worst thing that's going to happen to me is someone calling to beg for money. I have a friend who's got a trespassing ticke...

Well, speeding down the highway at 40 above the limit is an HTA offence, but I think most people can recognize it's a bit more than trespassing, on the scale of seriosness. As numerous others on here have said, trespass (TPA) is just not a serious offence. The fact that there aren't very severe/stif...

True, but TPA charges are usually trivial and don't hold much water as compared to something under the HTA. A trespass charge is about the lightest form of "penalty" a person can get.

Why do people who would never want to be a police officer be posting on the Blue Line forums? I don't want to stop them, I just don't understand them. Jeff There is a lot more to "Law Enforcement" than just Police Officers. There is already a private forum on here for PC's only, should th...

Hey, like I said... if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. My only question then, with the damage being over a thousand bucks, why was I told they couldn't do a thing because it happened on private property?
