Re: Canada-U.S. Border: American Police Want Legal Exemption
I'm all for integrated teams. As far as US pre-clearance facilities on Canadian soil..... Wait until the first lost Canadian wanders into the facility, explains that he or she didn't mean to end up there and asks to simply be allowed to leave. It will happen and it shouldn't take more than a day or...

How many times do you get told to go catch real criminals?
At least once a block.

So I've gotten the bug. Started off innocently, now I'm up to 9 or 10 blades.
Just picked up a Zero Tolerance ZT0350, and love it.

Re: prepaid credit cards
Used my CC extensively in the US. Never had any issues. I'd rather have the purchase protection, fraud protection etc. pay it off and have no fees at all.

Like other posters said, Contempt of Court is not an "offence". You may be thinking of S.127 CCC, Disobeying Court Order.

I thought this was going to be one of those "can I still become a cop if....." scenarios, with the title of the post.

Re: OC vs. Pitbull
I've deployed OC on nuisance dogs in the past it never really seemed to have much of an affect. If it was a grievous bodily harm/death situation I wouldn't even be considering OC spray unless extraordinary circumstances dictated otherwise. "Pitbull" is a generic term used to describe any ...

Re: Saanich Police Shooting Ruling
Coming from an unarmed special constable who isn't bound by this particular legislation, thanks for your concern, and why do you care? Correct me if I'm wrong....but weren't you a special (or the BC equivalent aka peace officer) at one time? If so, why such attitude? Your point? I knew my role in t...

Re: New to patch collecting
Thanks for the answers. Figured it would be something as simple that. I might give a binder with plastic sheets a try. I think what we are trying to say from our own experience is - never do anything PERMANENT in terms of display. Collecting interests can change, you can decide to specialise, diver...
