Anyone recall if the results for Stage 2 of ATS were sent by mail or bye-mail?

And can anyone confirm if the ATS vision and hearing tests would still be accepted?

Re: APPLICANTS - ANIMAL WELFARE & CONTROL

I imagine since this is a new government regulated enforcement it would require Ministry Use of Force standards. Most likely be similar to training we recieve as Correctional Officers. I also at minimum have handcuffs and baton maybe even OC. Will just have to see what training is provided? And I’m...

Re: MTO (Ontario) officers - provincewide postings

As a TEO, I'm going to step in here. MTO Enforcement IS IN A STATE OF CRISIS. When 150+ out of 160 some officers sign a province wide group grievance regarding unsafe working conditions and poisoned work environment, I'd have to say WE ARE IN CRISIS. It's a great job but if we don't continue to pus...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

I have smoked weed once in national weekday in 2016. It was legal just for that time. Thousands of folks were smoking at Yonge and Dundas square . Would it be okay though? No one in here can answer that question. But be SURE to tell your recruiter that it was “legal just for that time,” and “Thousa...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Hello Happy to say, I finally got my conditional offer for Toronto South starting Mar 23 (Hamilton COTA). Just wanted to clarify one thing, I know its been discussed earlier but I'm kind of worried. The recruiter stated that following 2 months of unpaid college training, I will be training at my in...

Re: Store Security releasing offenders

If the person says "no thanks, I have not stolen anything, have a nice day" and walks away, are they free to go? Yep, sure are - unless the security guard has decided otherwise - and then it is more likely to have become an arrest or detention. Simply identifying themselves as a security guard does...

Re: Police services and ATS

Hello everyone, I am trying to complete the OACP from the UK. It won't allow me to pay for it because my billing address is not Canada, and there is no option to change it. I have emailed support and have not yet received a reply. Has anyone had a similar problem, or advise whether this has to be c...

Re: Hearing Test Fail

So I failed my hearing test (Did not meet standard) but I still got my OACP certificate...Now does this mean that my OACP is no longer valid cause I failed my hearing test? Should I still apply to policing even though I did not meet the hearing standard? But still meet every requirements? Go to ano...
