Re: RCMP test

I received an email about two weeks after writing my test. The email stated I had passed by RPAB and was being selected to move on in the application process. There were a couple of attachments and a link to RCMP website with all the required forms and instructions that were required of me to fill o...

Re: Military Police

I've seen some really good MP's over the years. But I will always remember the guy who left his entire duty belt in my apartment and went back on the road after stopping in for coffee. The same guy who let his girlfriend take the PC to Safeway for groceries. He's gone now. How do these morons get h...

Re: G4S Armed Cash-In-Transit Personnel

Good luck but don't count on getting a full time position for several years. I know lots of guys how have been there for 3 years and still can't get on full time. Depends on where your work. Some places are more desperate than others. I started full-time. However, I've heard of people in Ontario wa...

They get paid a lot less though.

How much does a full time Brinks employee make an hour? G4S pay isn't bad, not great, but it pays the bills for now.

Re: G4S Armed Cash-In-Transit Personnel

Hey guys, I received a call yesterday from G4S asking me to go for testing next week for the position of Armed cash in transit personnel. I was wondering if there are any present or former armed personnel that could explain what this testing would entail. I'm assuming it's a general aptitude test b...

After his warm reception I'm not surprised. He could have spared himself and taken two minutes to look at the different threads lol.

Re: Brinks carrying 2 different pistols

Before you even got a job offer, you shot for five days mon-fri. If you passed you were given the job, and then paid for the days you were there. If you failed, you were punted and sent on your way. The drills were spot on and dealt with a lot of high stress movements. I still find myself sometimes...

Re: Taking classes while Policing

Maybe VanB or another RM will be along to comment. I hope so. Why do I keep getting dragged into the middle of these things? I think I'm going to change my user name. To the original guy, are you some kind of masochist? You just got reamed for the speeding ticket thing, and then a couple days later...

Re: How would you feel?

I would be really interested to see what this guy would do if he walked into a store and the manager told him they had a no hippie policy and he had to leave. Me thinks a discrimination suit would be filed within the hour. Based upon what I observed in this video, I'm sure his chronic use of mariju...

Re: How would you feel?

What a ridiculous situation, poor guy just wanted a coffee. I'm sure he'd be singing a different tune as soon as some junkie broke into his little grow op.. uh I mean coffee shop.
