Re: Fisheries Officer (DFO)

Check your emails folks, things are moving along again!! What region are you in? what did your email say! I’m in the Pacific Region. The email stated that I passed the VidCruiter portion. Follow up emails included Candidate packages as well as Date and Locations for the in-person interview.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hangers are likely not to make the cut lol. So sounds like a trip to Walmart on landing. I’ve read thru pages and pages of this forum and haven’t seen much in the way of suggestions on what “luxuries” are essential other than a good data plan for my mobile. Which I still have to find. It’s doubky h...

Re: Fisheries Officer (DFO)

For those who have gone through the hiring process, what was your experience with the placements? How likely is it that a new recruit could be working out of Vancouver, Burlington, Halifax or St. John's? Any insight about where new cadets are likely to end up would be great! Tks. When I got my init...

Re: CSC vs CBSA

For conversations sake, I follow a couple different threads, and the conclusion I’ve come to is more people attempt to transfer from CSC to CBSA than vise versa. These threads are only a fraction of applicants though so more likely the numbers are irrelevant to what the true numbers would be.

Re: CSC vs CBSA

Nobody has opinions about it ? For me the jobs are just about dead even with the exception of CSC now paying a small weekly dividend of $400 during training over the CBSA $125, giving it a plus. On the other hand in my opinion, strictly opinion, CSC would be slightly more dangerous and harder on on...

Well.........VidCruiter is done. Can’t say I’m feeling to optimistic. I now know I definitely prefer face to face interviews. Good luck to all those out there.

Re: Parliamentary Protective Service (PPS)

Thanks for the reply. I’ve visited the website. I should have worded it more better. I was looking for more information on recruitment. I kind of figured it would be included on a posting. I just haven’t actually caught one. I’ll keep my eyes open for the next posting. Thanks again.

Parliamentary Protective Service (PPS)

Hello all. I’m looking to find more information on PPS. I’m interested in applying but information is scarce. The website does not have a recruitment section and seeing as it’s a new service there is not a lot of information out there. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has been through the p...

Re: Fisheries Officer (DFO)

Hey all, Has anybody heard anything back from the WCPT-351 yet? Hi there. Its been a month for me so I enquired about scores. I received an email back saying they are getting test results out ASAP. What that means for time, I don’t know. All I know is federal job processes tend to take some time. I...

I haven't heard anything yet. but, I know that Ontario was on March break last week, and the Atlantic provinces this week, so I'm not expecting any word back until next week at the earliest.
