Re: TCHC Special Constables: 32 Positions

Someone that has recently went through the process should be able to answer. But on the website I see testing mentioned twice. This is located in the "Hiring Process" tab. Looks generic though.

Re: TCHC Special Constables: 32 Positions

Awaiting a new job posting in order to apply. Not sure if that will happen soon as I remember there was a large job posting for 100+ SC if I recall properly. COR had just expired and was not able to update in time.

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Not that I do not agree that anyone who wants to be in the CBSA should take the course prior to sending in their application. But labeling a fire arms course excellent that instructs you to look down the barrel to inspect if a round is in the chamber is a bit of a stretch. Anyone else that wrote the...

I was informed by both recruiters that the interview I did completed was the only one. My timeline is roughy. Aug - Applied Sept - Exam Oct - Results Nov - Interview Nov - Results As f...

Hi guys, curious how often the job for Correctional Officer gets posted on the Province of Ontario website? Do they do it in batches, or an annual thing?

Thank you.

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Thanks for the replies everyone. I called a recruiter today and was informed the PREP must be valid throughout. However, the COR (WTC PATI BPAD etc) must only be valid during the interview portion (PBQ LFI) and that an offer of employment can be made with an expired COR but not if PREP is expired. A...

Re: OPP Applicant Updates Thread

Hello everyone, I am looking for information regarding the PREP and COR. I am aware both need to be valid when applying to the OPP. However, do they both need to be valid for an offer of employment? Specifically the COR. A friend was told by another service they only required PREP to be active for a...
