Re: Niagara Regional Police

Not yet. I just got the e-mail with the Pre-Interview_questionnaire. Which looks almost identical to the PBQ. Gotta love to redundancy in the selection process 88)

So once I fill it out and send it in then I'll just be waiting to book to written LFI and PBQ.

I got the "we received your application, will contact you if selected for an interview" e-mail on Friday. So now I'm just waiting to see if I ear anything about starting the process. Any word on the typical wait time from initial e-mail to PBQ?

Re: Niagara Regional Police

I'll be sending in an application to NRPS once I get my PREP updated on saturday. Anybody else thinking of applying here soon, or currently going through the process. I've been through the whole process with HRPS, my file deferred by deputy Chief since my job experience didn't measure up with other ...

Re: Halton Regional Police

Moving on with Halton to LFI it is so refreshing not to wait weeks/months for results. Any advice for Lfi stage? I would say spend as much time on their website as you can. I passed the LFI in the summer of 2015 and I credit a lot of that to how much "useless" information about the service I had st...

Re: ASK A SPECIAL CONSTABLE

Hopefully DeCaire will breath some new life back into Mac 50. He is all business and concerned with the organization he is with. Not in building his own little nest o Kingdom. He will be leading rather recounting his past career. Yeah I'm not going to lie. The thought of working with DeCaire sounds...

Re: ASK A SPECIAL CONSTABLE

haha yeah thankfully she sort of gave a heads up at the info session. So I had refreshed myself on all that during the week and remembered the answers. Otherwise I would have been screwed for sure. Yeah I heard back yesterday and I have an interview on Feb 10th. I'm pretty excited, it would be a swe...

Re: ASK A SPECIAL CONSTABLE

Hey, I will be attending the testing session with McMaster University tomorrow night. Anybody on here going to be there? Or is there any current members of the Mac SC team on here? Just looking for any last minute pointers that might help. I've spent all week going over my notes from PF on steps to ...

Re: Halton Regional Police

I had my PBQ on June 10th of this year, and completed every stage (LFI, ECI, Pysch, Med, Background). Just last week I got the call informing me that my file was deemed "non-competitive" compared to others that had applied. Really sucks to have made it this far only to not get hired and now I have t...

Re: Halton Regional Police

Hello all! Just received word today to complete my PBQ and to come in for a Personal Interview. I had read earlier in the thread (among a few conflicting comments) that HRPS runs through it's hiring process swiftly. Would it be safe to assume that the 'round' of applicants that I'm currently a part...

Re: Halton Regional Police

Hey guys, I have my ECI with Halton tomorrow. If I'm successful they will inform me right away, and I'll proceed (after an hour or so lunch break) with the psych testing. Has anybody gotten this far in the selection process? I'm just wondering -if I'm successful in the ECI- how long it usually takes...
