Re: *** ASK AN RCMP RECRUITER ***

Hello I am new to this section here. So i am currently in the stage of doing my application package for the RCMP and was just wondering if there are sprcial considerations made if i have a family member that goes on frequent bipolar episodes and does harmful actions and i need to be there to get the...

Re: AR15 petition

I was believe it or not anti gun and hugely opposed firearms in private hands but then I actually did some research into the pro gun stance and now I have 4 guns and an RPAL and love going to the range. people seem to thing if we lighten up on gun law we will end up with crazy amounts of shootings l...

I worked security, and I also know what that shit entails and I enjoyed it, made a pinch here and there. Got some good stick and cuff training mixed in with firearms (company also ...

Re: Body Armor

Not sure the make, I don't have the vest with me now but will let you know next time i see it. The vest isn't a movie prop I'm sure of that. I tested the vest trying to stab it many times with very sharp knives and it didn't even cut out the outer lining, all tests were conducted on punching bags f...

Re: Body Armor

What company do you work for DJM? The company I work for which I needed to buy my own was Response security. I work at a shopping plaza on weekend nights as the bars there always have people who are drunk or high on god knows what and the client has had issues with vandalism and wants us to protect...

Re: Body Armor

The vest I got was used by a guy who was stupid and bought the armor for a holloween costume. So, you're telling me someone went out and spent $700+ dollars on a piece of a Halloween costume? I'm not buying it. I think you were duped into buying a prop of some sort, airsoft grade or expired vest. W...

Re: Body Armor

...as stated in your last thread...maybe you should find a different employer... would do the who hands off observe and report only type of gig but issue is in those places we don't get a good competitive edge when it comes time to recruitment. Working at these high risk sites has given me excellen...

Re: Body Armor

Maybe you should be wearing what is provided to you. $300 for Level III SBA with stab/spike protection is suspiciously cheap and I fear that you might be wearing something that is either used or damaged. I'll give you an idea of the body armour I have worn. Level IIIA SBA ( 2 x carriers plus the fr...

Re: 494 CC security CARE AND CONTROL

To all the guys who I spoke to badly my sincerest apologies. I guess I took the your a security guard not a cop thing as an insult as I got it way too much from drunk people at work who just try refuse to listen to me for things like being told to leave but that is no excuse. I was way to aggressive...

Re: 494 CC security CARE AND CONTROL

I don't know why I feel the need to post here but, I am currently eating, on a break, at work, as a security guard, at a mall, on night shift, that has a bar on site, and after reading all of this I can not help but to agree with what everyone is saying. Read your post orders. Know them. That is wh...

Re: 494 CC security CARE AND CONTROL

Alright everybody so here is what I'm doing just so we are clear, first of all I'm not alone four other guards are present with me. I will call police and let the driver walk away without any talk to what so ever and just let it be. Guess I can't save everyone.

Re: 494 CC security CARE AND CONTROL

DJM - You're a security guard. You're not a police officer. Stop pretending to be one. It 100% can bite you in the ass, when you tell someone they are okay to drive and they crash their car. It can also bite you in the ass, when you arrest someone for suspicion they are intoxicated, and they press ...
