Re: Gun Control Vs. Criminal Control

So then wouldn't we want to reduce the potential number of guns available to criminals? "If it saves one life" is not a particularly persuasive argument for restricting the freedom of your citizens. If laws are broken we should cease to adopt them is circular at best. People everywhere sp...

Re: Guns, an investment.

On the topic of buying guns, It's a dangerous time to buy semi-auto's. I know a guy who just bought a Tavor and I cringed a bit inside. I guess a stripped AR receiver wouldn't hurt if you don't have one yet, but I wouldn't gamble thousands of dollars on the current government following previous one...

Re: Buying 511 Pants at reasonable price in Canada

I have 5.11 taclite shirts and now a bunch of 5.11 rapid shirts. Quite a few officers in pac region are wearing the rapid shirts. They are super comfortable and fit reasonably well to size. I agree that the taclite collars are not really right either, but I have a couple tailored issued shirts for t...

Re: CBSA Boots?

m Originally got them about 2.5 years ago, just yesterday I threw on an identical pair I ordered online a few weeks ago to replace the older ones. Very comfortable and they lasted me the two+ years pretty well. I can't speak to real world waterproofing but they meet the policy. Agreed. I had those ...

One or two of us have made it in, everyone else gets errors. I'm guessing that it's too many users at once.

Re: Ford warranties

I guess one good thing that might come out of this junker is that I think I convinced my wife that a 2016 Subaru WRX sport-tech would make a good reliable family vehicle. Dude, just get a Chevy and be done with it haha. TBH, I've never understood Subarus. I know all their models are AWD, but they a...

Re: Bill C-42 ATT Condition

As of Sep 2, 2015 the new provisions for a restricted ATT came into force. A huge step towards eliminating useless paperwork and red tape for legal firearm owners. Or not... 'Looks like now I need to call and get an STATT every time I want to take my wife's pistol to the range. Prior to Sept. 02 LT...

Re: CBSA uniform components test phase

Let me clarify. That portion is on the inside, yes. However, there is an elastic portion on the outside, above the ass! Both styles of 5.11 pants and the LAPG pants I wear have elastic waistbands on them. I find them much more comfortable than the standard fixed waistband as they expand/contract wi...
