Re: Durham Regional Police Service

I don't have an inside track on this police service but I just happened to notice that they have opened up a new hiring pool for police constables (Open until 2015) Is anyone aware of why they keep it open for so long unlike other services which have a short timeline? Does anyone know of how many o...

Re: Toronto Police Service

Anyone know what it could mean if your BGI has provided your file to his/her staff sergeant? I'm in that situation. I did have an internal reference letter (829) >j How were you able to find out that your file has been given to the staff sergeant???? Chances are your file is going up for further re...

Re: Toronto Police Service

A question for people who have only submitted applications and yet to get any further - Are you continuing to apply for every new posting for Cadets or just leaving your one existing application? I don't think you can apply again once you've put in an application. Your application is good for 18 mo...

Re: Toronto Police Service

Has anybody who applied for the posting that ended December 31st last year or more recently the February one, heard anything at all? (other than the guy who got hired in 3 months..) Yes, i'm curious about the same thing, or are they still processing people that have applied from way back? I would a...

Re: Toronto Police Service

Did my MMPI-2 on 7th February. No any contact so far from that point, waiting for BGI/Psych call/contact. Anybody else in same situation? As they state when you do the MMPI just because you do the test does not mean that you will move on to backgrounds. I do not believe you get a call for your psyc...

Re: **INFORMATION FOR NEW MEMBERS/APPLICANTS**

Can anyone offer any insight on what happens after a psych test??? I did the test on Friday Feb 14 and the person supervising the test states "doing the psych test does not mean it will be marked. Just because the test is mark does not mean you will get an interview with a psychologist." C...
