Re: Need Advice

I don't think your girlfriends prior criminal record will come back to bite you in the ass if you disclose it properly. It also depends on the level of severity of the said infraction. However; you should definitely speak to the recruiter of whichever department your thinking about applying to. Diff...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Had a psych test done for the RCMP, and a psych test done for the CBSA.. Failed the RCMP one, passed the CBSA one... Exact same tests. :dubious:

Redoing my RCMP one in October, at least it was only a year deferral.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Thank you for the information, I guess that's been updated since I last looked into it, thank you for the updated information; However, I still stand by my opinion that when in doubt, speak with an RCMP recruiter who can give you information "Horse to mouth" so to speak rather than an open internet ...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

if you truly feel you have been slighted by a "Technical Difficulty" you have the right to appeal the decision and recruiting will take another look at the file. Just google it, and there will be avenues available to you. Before you do that though, I'd recommend speaking with a recruiter. Mind you, ...

Re: Ask A BC Sheriff

It's definitely 180. You have to go wall to wall Correct sir. 180% Arc. Also, you have to hold the weight at a specified level as indicated by a little piece of tape. Cant drop it, or else you will have to re-do the arc.. and that's not fun when your gassed. I highly recommend going to a practice s...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Hey guys Security Integrity Interview's coming up pretty quick. I've been in the background portion for about 7 months now. When you do the interview is that indicative of the background process almost being finished? Also, are there any online recourses online available that might show me what to e...

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

Quick reminder the CBSA process can take years.. So don't be in a rush to get that PARE test done lol.

I've been in the process since 2016 having been successful in every step so far. Having to redue things is annoying, costly, and unneeded stress. IMO

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

I applied to one process, got a deferral at the psyc stage and had to wait a year to re-apply. A year went by and I am back in that process and all the time still in the same CBSA process. XD 88) 88)

Re: GENERAL CBSA APPLICANT CHIT CHAT

applied in 2016... successful on every part of the process and still waiting on the S/C portion

Just keep on applying to other careers in the meantime, that would be my advice.

The wheels of life don't stop rolling just cause you have an app in with CBSA.

Re: Ask A BC Sheriff

SOPAT is harder then the PARE whole heartedly, hands down. PARE you get an extra 30 seconds PARE the vaults are in the circuit so you have all the momentum in the world as you jump up and over then roll out. PARE the jump is 5 feet, so you get a second to breathe when you land. SOPAT is basically th...

Re: Ask A BC Sheriff

Apply man, in my opinion apply to everything! Better to try and be deffered then to not try at all. Plus weeds legal now, i doubt they would ask any questions pertaining to it.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hey guys, Well my deferral is up. I got the to the Psyc stage and got removed from the process, and I just resubmitted my app! Looking forward to re-applying! Side note; I heard a rumour that the RCMP are reintroducing the interview in the recruitment process? Can anyone confirm? I couldn't find any...
