Re: RCMP auxiliary PC ?

Nice looking rides.....BUT (you knew a but was coming)....shouldn't those vehicles go to a division where they are needed for regular patrol instead? No offence to Aux officers, but I think that you could easily make due with an older unit that could be pulled from service and put those into its pl...

Re: Are "New" LED lightbars actually safer for officers?

1) parking in a fend off position (at an angle) 2) turning your lights to a low setting (at night) 3) Turning off your wig wags (on single lane highways at night) 4) wearing a high visibility vest preferably a jacket 5) using an arrow bar 6) and passenger side contact will decrease your chances of ...

Re: Federal Arjent vs Whelen Liberty

Ugh thats the worst pattern of the bunch. In addition on the 53" bar that pattern seems programed incorrectly because it doesn't use the two inner modules to the front. On the RCMP 53" bar are the inner most lights to the rear disabled or not included or something? I can't seem to make the...

Re: Federal Arjent vs Whelen Liberty

I haven't used the Arjent but I've used its Legend counterpart which is near identical as well as the liberty. Given a choice between the two I would pick the liberty, but in all honesty they are both excellent choices. I would take the liberty due to the fact that it is infinately more customizable...

Re: A-Pillar/Post mounted Spotlight(s) Opinions ?

Holy shit. That has to be the most lit-up vehicle I have ever seen. Who pays for all that? Our trucks have a lightbar, that's it. The detachment has to pay for any extras out of their budget, but oddly enough most of the lights on the vehicle are just recycled from previous installs, so there was v...

Does that thing have enough lights? Re: A-Pillar/Post mounted Spotlight(s) Opinions ?

Do your cars have strobes in the turn signals? They have strobes in the corner marker lights and the taillights. The inner turn signal portion does not, i think its just a reflection of the pushbumper in the lower picture. We have Hide-Away LED's in the Reverse Lights of one of our crown vics and o...

According to post garage here in BC the 2WD Tahoe is only a grand-ish more... the 4WD tahoe is significantly more expensive however.
