Re: PTSD and you.

We lost 2 more Correctional Offices to PTSD..
1 was a good friend and coworker, the other I knew thru a PTSD support group we belong to.
I cannot stress enough to prepare yourself for this when you start working..
Everyone is susceptible to it.

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

A friend and former coworker will be one of your instructors on CTP in PEI.
Great guy, very knowledgeable and is very passionate about teaching new recruits.
If you are a hockey fan you will be best buds with him. lol

Re: Applying to Correctional Service Canada

As a CSC firearms instructor I will say based on my many years experience.. do not go get firearms training before you go to CTP. All you will do is acquire training habits that may or may not be the same as we will train you to do. So you will have to be retrained which takes up valuable time and i...

I like the look but agree with the scaling issue. I realize the world is moving to tiny handheld screens but I use a a laptop and am constantly frustrated by this but I do realize that I'm probably in the quickly shrinking minority. Good job though! I'm with you ziggy..19" monitor. I hate surfing o...

Re: Site intermittently down?

Not sure who you are hosting your site with or who is doing maintenance on it but whoever it is..you are paying them to much. LOL. Wish I had anything to do with this, or even knew who was hosting it and who was doing maintenance. We miss Kieran! you should find out and have a Dave Brown "come to J...

Re: Site intermittently down?

Everything should be better today. It isn't Dave. It's getting to the point it's easier to keep track of the times the site works like it should compared to the times it logs me out when I try and post, surf to a different forum, leave the site and come back even though I have "remember me" checked...
