Not sure if it matters anymore but, There is a CANFORGEN that states members can release within 3 months if they have a job offer from a federal employer.

What is a re-insertion request?

Once your deferral date is up, you can request to be Re-inserted into the application process.

My EPS app was concluded 2 weeks before I was to head down. I'm not sure why as I was not given a reason but I was told I will be called shortly to explain what is going on, I understand they are seeking the best of the best so if it's something I have fallen short on then I will only improve myself...
