I talked to my recruiter the other day and he said that they were cutting off the invites for RTC 137 on Monday May 16th as that class has now been moved up a week to May 30th.

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Thanks Loadie for the verbal yoga. It helps ......Vees19, you seem to be flying through the process. My background took over a month to complete but you nver know yours could be faster. Good luck with everything. I was an out of province applicant so i was lucky enough to get it all done in one wee...

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Just had my week of testing!! Went a lot better than i had anticipated. The recruiters were extremely friendly and kind. Does anyone know, if you completed all of the stages in the week of testing, do you automatically move onto background or do deferrals still occur ? June 1st RTC 137 seems unlikely!

Re: Edmonton Police Service Recruiting

Hey all, I've got my week of testing from April 30-May 6. For anyone who has recently been out there I was wondering if you could shed some light on what the BDI interview is like? Do they only ask you one question per competency or is there multiple questions per competency?

Re: Ask A BC Sheriff

I don't really understand why they would invest so much time and money into a candidate then offer part time or on call hours and attach a 2 year commitment (or face the possibilities of repaying JIBC SRT course) Am I missing something? Welcome to the BC Gov..... Not much makes sense .... It costs ...

Re: Ask A BC Sheriff

Pretty much every Sheriff I've met has a part time job as well. I got a few with me at Rogers Arena and some who are bouncers. if you go from CVSE to Sheriff.. You'll be taking a massive pay cut. I'm prepping for BCSS but I'm throwing my name at CVSE as well.. Whoever will have me. My day job will ...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Has the chest X-ray been phased out of medicals? My requisitions included blood, urine and ECG and audiogram, but chest X-ray was not checked nor was it mentioned anywhere in the medical requisitions email I received from HS. Contacted HS but didn't get an answer yet. Thats really odd! I had my med...
