Did that CRKT Ripple have the IKBS? I need to buy something with that bearing system so I can try it out, it's supposed to be super smooth.

Anybody score some stuff at the ongoing Warriors and Wonders sale?
I think it ends at the end of this month.
I was hoping for a Spyderco Shabaria to go on sale but no such luck :(

Re: Duty Knives

Where did you pick up the Matriarch at? I like. i got it from a friend who scours the internet forums for deals. I said I wanted it and he is very charitable, so he sold it to me. It's apart right now. The clip and screw are drying with a new coat of flat black primer, and the FRN handles are going...

Re: Equipment store in Halifax, NS

Sounds like it might go to $190 nationally and that is what my region is giving us presently. (watch them make every two years after they increase it!). I always get boots at Work Wear World here on the westcoast, not sure if thay are a national chain.

Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver is now stocking the Benchmade line!
Also Daves Tactical and Surplus in New Westminster BC is getting larger lines of blades including the Strider line.
Providing more reasons to extract money from me- great.

If we seized it, it means he didn't declare it. So if an American traveller were to arrive at the inspection kiosk and say.. "Oh, I saw the sign about declaring firearms... I didn't realize it was a problem, but just so you know I have a pistol in my glove box. They'd just get sent back or... ...

Has anyone fondled the new Olight M30? It's an MCE putting out 700lumens (probably closer to 500 out the front) Just wondering if it's too big for duty carry. I would use the 3 cell configuration.

I always found it odd that you are legally allowed to defend yourself but the Feds give you no means to actually do so.
I'd like to see some kind of Concealed Weapon permit for trained civilians. I know they exist now but in reality very few people get them.

Lot of guys been talking about the new Millie with the orange micarta handles. I'm considering it. Anyone here carry one (orange handles or not)? I also just picked up a Buck Redpoint for cheap, nice little knife. I like that it locks closed and open and has a deep pocket carry clip. I'm on the wai...

Re: Duty Knives

I'm a fan of Spyderco too. They use good steel in all their product. Go for an Endura- look at the "waved" version- it deploys faster that a switchbalde. warriorsandwonders has some of the best prices and service in canada. endura on the bottom, police in the middle gunting on top (discont...
