Kinda sad that a position titled Security Officer (Special Constable status...but still) gets a higher starting wage than a CO. m Maybe there is more to the job than what the job description looks like though... That job is boring...Done it...it will be good for new graduates that need a job.

Do police officers go out on the road on 911 calls before they go to the academy? No they dont. Ontario corrections does it right in that sense. I guess I should stick to my TTC offer More money, more benefits, less commute and less risk... Applecare stick with TTC offer....corrections is shit...unless you keep for a part-time job... It's all how you look at it. Now I never worked prov but I know it's a good career on the Fed side. Be proud...

How about you guys start paying recruits wages while at training. that sure be nice, but it would also increase competetiveness, not to mention that the Province is broke The Province will never be broke...all level of government have reserve funds in the hundred millions..that is not on the books ...
